Description

Making this hibiscus-infused simple syrup is incredibly straight-forward and will keep for several weeks in the refrigerator.


Ingredients

  • 5 hibiscus flowers, rinsed and pistil (center part) removed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Place the rinsed Hibiscus flowers in 1 cup of water and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the hibiscus infused water and 1 cup of sugar, just until sugar has dissolved.
  3. Allow to cool before using
